We don't provide this service ourselves but we can help to point you in the right direction. Any financial or menu agreements are to be made directly between yourselves and the catering company. Please note that we as the venue ask for a small fee (£30) if you bring in caterers due to the administrative burden of food safety requirements and to provide facilities for the caterers beyond those necessary for self-catering. Catering is only suitable for whole castle or east wing guests. If you bring in outside guests for a meal there is a charge of £20 per extra person due to the need to rearrange furniture and set extra places. The dining room can seat a maximum of 24 people.

Can you imagine Mr. Darcy carrying his own bags or pouring his own drinks? It's just not the done thing. A butler brings an extra sprinkle of class and sophistication to the affair. Please let us know how many days or nights you require this service.

Your host, James, will give you a tour of the castle upon your arrival, pointing out interesting features and regaling you with stories of the famous or villainous people and families that have graced these halls. Available between 4pm and 5:30pm on first day.

Is it really a holiday if you have to make the beds yourself? Housekeeping can be arranged on a daily basis. The housekeeper will make beds, use a vacuum cleaner and generally tidy up but will not wash dishes. The housekeeper will work for approximately 4 hours.

If you need a pick up/drop off at Aberdeen Airport let us know and we may be able to help arrange this service for you. This is also a good idea if you want to do a whisky tour or if you have no other means of getting around. Public transport is possible but difficult here.

Lickleyhead Castle is pet friendly but you might not always have time to exercise your canine companions during your time here. Worry not, we can do that for you. We can exercise up to 3 dogs at a time for a 30 minute walk. Dogs will be kept on leads.

Don't forget to say cheese! If you are having a special occasion here and want beautiful photos to remind everyone of your time at Lickleyhead Castle, we can help arrange for a professional photographer to take some snaps.

Non-local chefs might need to stay in the castle with you and might therefore require a bedroom in which to sleep. We can help find someone for you but any agreement is to be between yourselves and the chef. If you are planning to do a group activity at the castle or just want mementos of your time here, matching t-shirts for everyone might be the solution. Currently the design above is our only option. Please let us know number of t-shirts and sizes. T-shirts can be ordered well in advance and held by us until your arrival.
